Promising pre-season:

The signs were good at Ian Galloway Park on Saturday that 2017 is going to be somewhat better than 2016 for our prems/prem reserves.  There was much to like about a number of ‘newbies’ and coaches Logan and Garry were happy with what they saw though there are obviously a number of ‘work-ons’ still in the offing (and a couple of players still in the wings) .

The games against Upper Hutt and Paremata/Plimmerton were of three 20-minute quarters and a 30-minute spell. Score lines are not that important in pre-season games, but we did finish both matches ahead on the board (if there had been one).

This Saturday we’re in Palmerston North, playing Old Boys-Marist, before Paraparaumu the following week.

NOTICE TO ALL PLAYERS
All players must be registered before they play a competition game. This must be done online.

Those players who were registered last year (2016) and have a valid e-mail address will receive an e-mail which contains a link to the registration website. This will have your 2017 registration form. Please check it, change any of the details as necessary and click the tick-box. You will then be registered.

New players or those without a valid e-mail address will be contacted at training nights.

Any queries contact Murray Usmar on murray.usmar@hotmail.com

Working bee — Sunday 05/03/17 :

A lot of prep work and undercoating in the changing room toilets and both entranceways was completed on Sunday so we need people this Sunday (March 5) to complete undercoating and get a top coat on.

Need people to bring brushes, drop cloths, etc.
