Johnsonville Hawks RFC News

NEWSLETTER — 11-05-18

We received feedback from 50 players, members and supporters at the meeting last Thursday evening which was great.  Some of the key findings were as follows:

Members / Supporters Surveys:

  • 85% of you thought the Club was professional and well managed
  • 93% of you would recommend the JRFC to prospective members / supporters
  • Overall satisfaction of the JRFC was only 6.5 out of 10 on average which was a bit low
  • The cleanliness and maintenance of facilities was rated 6.7 out of 10 so some work to do there!

Player Surveys:

  • 9 out of 10 players indicated they would want to re-join next year
  • 100% of players indicated they want to remain as a Premier Rugby Club!
  • The players rated the facilities available to them a 6.8 out of 10 so an improvement area
  • Player camaraderie was rated 5.9 out of 10 only – one of the biggest areas we need to look at addressing

Other feedback received out of the surveys included:

  • We need better lighting in and around the Club, including for training on the park
  • The Newlands Juniors was noted as being very family friendly
  • Downstairs toilets needed some work
  • The top 3 teams are potentially being looked after more than the others

All the survey feedback is very valuable, and the Committee will be considering this in more detail at their next meeting amongst some of the other discussion items that took place.

LAUNCH OF NEW JRFC APPAREL
We have been working with Kukri (merchandise provider) for some new apparel for members and supporters.  We are looking to do a soft launch of hoodies and beanies (pictured below) and the Committee will be receiving samples for a variety of other apparel of which we will be aiming to launch early next year.
If you would like to get your hands on a hoodie or beanie, please reply to this email.
